Eeny Meeny Preschool (EMP) is a licensed Group Family Daycare located in Jamaica, Queens, NY, serving children ages 0 to 5 years old. We provide a warm, home-based early learning environment that combines the comfort of family childcare with the structure and quality of a preschool program.
Our program is licensed through the New York State Office of Children & Family Services (OCFS) and regulated by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH). We proudly comply with all childcare regulations established by the Bureau of Child Care to ensure a safe, professional, and enriching environment for every child.

👩🏽🏫 Our Founder
Ms. Ashanté, Founder and Director, is a Certified Family Life Educator and Early Childhood professional with over a decade of experience serving NYC families. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Family and Consumer Sciences (HDFS) and is completing her Master of Arts in Teaching, working toward NYS Dual Certification (Birth–2nd Grade, General Ed. and Special Ed.).
Her leadership ensures that Eeny Meeny Preschool maintains the highest standards of early education, integrity, and family-centered care. She believes that faith, structure, and compassion form the foundation of meaningful early learning experiences.
