Eeny Meeny Preschool proudly accepts both ACS Vouchers and HRA Subsidy as part of our commitment to making quality early childhood education accessible for all families. Childcare vouchers help cover the cost of care for children ages 6 weeks to 13 years old, and for children with disabilities up to 19 years old.
Vouchers may cover some or all childcare costs. Most families contribute a portion based on income and family size. Eligibility for a childcare voucher is determined by the New York City Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) and the Human Resources Administration (HRA), and depends on income, household size, and individual family needs. Voucher availability is subject to funding and program requirements.
💵 Financial Responsibilities
Families are responsible for any fees not covered by the voucher. All voucher recipients are required to pay a refundable deposit equivalent to one week of tuition prior to the start of care. This refundable deposit may be:
- Held to cover tuition in the event that a voucher becomes void or is cancelled
- Applied toward a termination fee if applicable
- Fully refunded after 90 days from the voucher’s effective date, provided all terms are met
Payment plans for the refundable deposit are available upon request.
📋 Voucher Maintenance Policy
Voucher recipients are responsible for maintaining active voucher status and notifying Eeny Meeny Preschool of any changes immediately. In the event of a voided or cancelled voucher, families must pay tuition privately to continue care, or childcare services will be suspended until recertification is established.
Tip for Families: Stay in close contact with your ACS or HRA caseworker to prevent service interruptions and maintain continuous eligibility.
